  • Aberdeen International Airport Extension Open or Close

    One of the most pivotal areas of development in the City of Aberdeen was the expansion of the International Airport. A new terminal and additional runway were required to accommodate the vast influx of business and tourism to the city. We helped BriggAmasco in the planning and design of their Sarnafil roof contract.

    We produced a concise and detailed design package that coordinated seamlessly with all other aspects of the new terminal envelope. We also provided BriggsAmasco with technical support through site visits and daily updates on design progress. Our package allowed BriggsAmasco to complete their roofing contract quickly and to the enviable standards.

    The new Google Headquarters in London is an astounding architectural venture. It is also a prime example of how flexible and committed we are as a design company. We assisted ARUP technical teams with design drawings achieving key deadlines for their client.

  • Marischal Square, Aberdeen Open or Close

    In the past couple of years Aberdeen has been awash with new development projects. CAD for Construction Services Ltd have been heavily involved in many of these impressive architectural feats. Marischal Square Development in the city centre is just one of the large-scale design packages we provided. 

    We were brought on board by BriggsAmasco due to our invaluable experience in Bauder Hot Melt roofing systems. This challenging contract also incorporated single ply membrane, another area in which we have a wealth of experience. We produced complex design packages and detailed technical support to BriggsAmasco for this huge project.

  • Dundee Railway Station Open or Close

    Dundee Railway Station upgrade, which includes a high-end hotel, is one of the most notable projects on the waterfront re-development. BriggsAmasco asked us to produce design packages for seven different Sarnafil roofs. We represented BriggsAmasco at on-site design meetings and coordinated our design direct with Sika Sarnafil and their tapered roof insulation.

    With much media attention, this project required precise planning and foresight in order to reduce onsite delays to the plaudits of both Balfour Beatty and BriggsAmasco.

  • Bothwell Exchange, Glasgow Open or Close

    Another project that required our extensive insight in Bauder Hot Melt roofing systems. The Bothwell Exchange in Glasgow needed serious design know-how in order to produce complex parapet details, plus new Bauder roofing build ups. We worked extremely closely with Bauder Technical Team in order to produce solutions to coordination issues.

    We assembled our drawings packages on behalf on Avonside Roofing. Maximum flexibility was required as the architectural design of the building was adapted during construction. With positive coordination we were able to help Avonside produce an impressive Bauder slab and ballast roof build up.

  • Science Central, Newcastle Open or Close

    Science Central Newcastle is one of the biggest urban regeneration projects in the UK. Previously run-down areas in Newcastle have been created into a thriving hub for science, business, living and leisure.

    Our design involvement included Bauder Hot Melt roofing systems and also Rainscreen Cladding. Delighted to be a part of this ground-breaking project.
